                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF A
                   SPECIAL PERMIT TO EXPAND A CEMETERY ON A TRACT
                   OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 3000 BLOCK OF CEMETERY
                   LANE, BEING OFF THE END OF CEMETERY LANE
                   NORTHEAST OF OLD CLEVELAND PIKE, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, UPON CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there is hereby approved a Special 

         Permit to expand a cemetery on a tract of land located in the 
3000
         block of Cemetery Lane, being off the end of Cemetery Lane
         northeast of Old Cleveland Pike, more particularly described
         herein, subject to provisions of Article VI, Section 111 of the 

         Chattanooga Zoning Ordinance.  Said tract is desribed as 
follows:
             
                  
                   Part of lot 11, Clearview Subdivision, as
                   shown by plat of record in plat book 33, page
                   38, ROHC; being part of the property described
                   in deed book 2542, page 926, ROHC.  To find
                   the true point of beginning of said part of
                   lot, start on the southwest line of Cemetery
                   Lane some 705 feet northeast, then southeast,
                   of the intersection of the southeast line of
                   Cemetery Lane with the northwest line of Old
                   Cleveland Pike, thence southeast some 12.38
                   feet with the extension of the southwest line
                   of Cemetery Lane, thence northeast 144.46
                   feet, thence northwest some 70.81 feet to the
                   true point of beginning, thence continuing
                   northwest some 118 feet, thence northeast
                   106.47 feet, thence southeast some 120 feet,
                   thence southwest some 108 feet to the true
                   point of beginning.  Tax Map No. 139C-A- 12.1
